This is one of my favorite Apple Pie Recipes! I found it a couple of years back on the Food Network website, I don’t remember the chef that created it. I made a few tweaks on the spices and I love it!! Perfect dessert for the fall when eaten warm with a nice ball of ice cream.
Ingredients:
For the crust:
2 ½ cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup cool unsalted butter, cut into pieces
¼ cup cool water
2 tsp white vinegar or lemon juice
For the filling:
5 medium apples
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
½ cup granulated sugar
⅓ cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger + cloves
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
2 tbsp rolled oats
2 tbsp unsalted butter

2 ½ copos de farinha
1 colher de sopa de açúcar
1 colher de chá de sal
3 colheres de sopa de óleo vegetal
1 copo de manteiga sem sal fria, cortada em pedaços
¼ copo de água fria
2 colheres de chá de vinagre branco ou sumo de limão
Para o recheio:
5 maçãs médias
1 colher de sopa de sumo de limão fresco
½ copo de açúcar
⅓ copo cheia de açúcar mascavado
1 colher de chá de canela em pó
¼ colher de chá de gengibre + cravo
¼ colher de chá de noz-moscada
2 colheres de sopa de aveia em flocos
2 colheres de sopa de manteiga sem sal
1 copo > 250 mL
