How to make Bagels!

My Sunday morning breakfast most of the time is a bagel. We used to buy store bought, but I had to try and make them! Homemade are MUCH BETTER!! It is a little bit time consuming, but you can always double the recipe and store in the freezer.

I did try a couple of recipes, but the one i liked best was from Urbanjuice Cook.

Enjoy!

Ingredients (for 8 bagels):
3 cups of bread flour
2 tbsp of sugar
50g butter
225mL of milk
14g of fast action dried yeast
1 tsp of salt
1 egg separated
1 tbsp of milk
Poppy or sesame seeds

Ingredientes em Português (para 8 bagels):

3 copos de farinha de pão
2 colheres de sopa de açúcar
50g de manteiga
225 ml de leite
14g de fermento seco
1 colher de chá de sal
1 ovo separado
1 colher de sopa de leite
Sementes de papoila ou sésamo
