Mussels’ Vinaigrette

Mussels’ Vinaigrette is always at our appetizers table when we have visitors at home. They are awesome if you have a tapas party!

Ingredients:
¼ red bell pepper
¼ green bell pepper
1 small onion
1 green onion
400 g of mussels + shell (I used pre-cooked frozen mussels, but if you can buy fresh and cook them at home. It’s much better!)

For vinaigrette:
2/3 of olive oil
1/3 of white wine vinegar
Tabasco as much as you like, I used about 4 drops

Note: when finished preparing mussels I suggest leaving it in the fridge for at least 30 min, 1 hour is best actually because all those flavors combine and make the mussels amazing!

Ingredientes em Português:

¼ pimento vermelho
¼ pimento verde
1 cebola pequena
1 cebolinho
400 g de mexilhões + casca (usei mexilhões congelados pré-cozidos, mas se puders comprar fresquinhos e cozinhá-los em casa. É muito melhor!)

Para vinagrete:
2/3 de azeite
1/3 de vinagre de vinho branco
Tabasco a teu gosto, eu usei cerca de 4 gotas

Nota: quando acaberes de preparar os mexilhões, sugiro deixá-los no frigorifico por pelo menos 30 min, 1 hora é melhor, assim todos os sabores combinam e fazem os mexilhões mais saborosos!
