Pesto – Nut Free – Fettuccine

This is one of my favorite pasta recipes! If you can’t eat nuts, or you just don’t like them, this pesto recipe is for you! I played around with this recipe by adding greens that I had at home, it turned out very good, not tart at all, semi-sweet I would say. Do not skip the lemon zest added in the end! It gives it an exceptional citrusy flavor.

Ingredients:

¼ cup of olive oil
2 ½ cup of spinach
1 cup of parsley
½ cup of basil
3 garlic cloves
¼ cup of heavy cream
450 g fettuccine past
Salt and pepper
Parmigiano Reggiano
Lemon zest

¼ copo de azeite
2 ½ copo de espinafres
1 copo de salsa
½ copo de manjericão
3 dentes de alho
¼ copo de natas
450 g de massa fettuccine
Sal e pimenta
Queijo Parmigiano Reggiano
Raspas de limão

 

1 copo > 250 mL
